"MISS TILLY"
Our Children's Theater
Thursdays: 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. (Ages 6-9)
Thursdays: 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. (Ages 10-14)
Tuition: $55.00/month

- Our classes are unique. The scripts, music and lyrics, choreography and direction are all original. This is exciting for our students as they are part of "works in progress."
- We encourage students to realize they can turn a thought into a script, turn that script into a song and put it all into movement and dance.
- Our goal is to produce "Miss Tilly" into a full-length, mini-musical. Our cast will include actors from 5 years to 16 years old. Where needed, we will include adults in our musicals.
- Throughout our season (10-months) students will perform several original skits. We will invite the parents to attend Sneak a Peek Performances in the studio.
What's the difference between the Children's Theater Classes and Sing! Dance! Act! classes?
That's easy! During the Sing! Dance! Act! classes, Judi focuses on the tried and true musical theater works. Students learn monologues, theater movement and voice from several favorite musicals. Only vocally and age appropriate music is used during class.
Both classes are designed for the purpose of giving our students a chance to create and enjoy the freedom of expression. It is our experience that each and every week our students run up the 37 steps, smiling and excited and ready for the challenge of the day! They love learning and we love teaching.

AUDITION DATE AND TIME: MARCH 19th 1-2:30 pm
1ST REHEARSAL: MARCH 20th 1-2:30 pm
Audition and rehearsals will be held at The Studio of Dance and Performing Arts of Newtown [All who audition will be cast]
We will meet every Sunday in the studio from March 20th - June 5th on Sundays from 1-2:30pm [No rehearsal April 24 and May 8]. *Please have your child try to attend all rehearsals, as it is vital to the success of the excerpt!
There will be no need to purchase a costume, as the director will use her creativity with what your child already has in his/her closet!
This year we are proud to announce a discounted cost for this program! We know times are tough, therefore we have discounted the price $50.00 for your benefit!
The Cost: 10 WEEKS---------$150.00
This excerpt of "MISS TILLY" will be performed in The Studio of Dance's Annual recital called "OOPS" on June 11th, 6:30pm curtain!
